BOMBSHELL: Twitter Engineer Sounds Off On the Company’s Censorship Policies

The corporate press has routinely labeled allegations of Big Tech censorship efforts as baseless conspiracy theories. These gatekeepers will dismiss these allegations as kooky theories being propagated by reactionary Right. 

Well, guess what? This entire narrative has collapsed with a senior Twitter engineer spilling the beans on how the Big Tech titan is censoring right-wing discourse. 

In a secret recording, Siru Murugesan, the Twitter engineer, declared that the social media company 

is “censoring the right” and he and his fellow workers are “Commie as f–k.”

“Twitter does not believe in free speech,” Murugesan declared in several hidden-camera clips that free speech watchdog Project Veritas released on May 16, 2022. 

“Elon [Musk] believes in free speech,”continued Murugesan. 

The Twitter engineer argued that many of his co-workers “hate” the prospect of a Musk-led Twitter if his $44 billion purchase is realized. 

“Some of my colleagues are like super left, left, left, left, left,” declared the engineer.

The engineer also noted that many of co-workers have threatened to leave their jobs if Musk assumes control of Twitter and implements pro-free speech policies. 

“Our jobs are at stake — he’s a capitalist, and we weren’t really operating as capitalists, more like very socialist,” Murugesan stated. “We’re all like Commie as f–k.”

“We’re actually censoring the right, and not the left,” Murugesan stressed. “It’s true. There is bias. It is what it is today.”

And there you have it. 

Twitter is no fan of free speech.

There is some degree of irony here. Under former CEO Jack Dorsey’s watch, Twitter did have a brief free speech phase before Donald Trump was elected in 2016.  

Tony Wang, the general manager of Twitter in the United Kingdom, branded Twitter as “the free speech wing of the free speech party.”

With how wokifed the Big Tech giant has become in recent years, this platform has become an increasingly private censorship arm of the Deep State.

Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, if it’s fully consummated, offers a glimmer of hope for free speech advocates. 

Time will tell if Musk follows through with this move and starts implementing pro-free speech policies.

The fact is that social media is the new public square and having it in the hands of our enemies will lead to the inevitable subjugation of the Right. 

At the end of the day, Musk’s ownership of Twitter might be the only hope for free discourse on social media.
