Liberals don’t know how to take losses very well. Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week, liberals and their leftist fellow travelers are trying to find every way possible to subvert the results of this decision, which would kick the abortion question back to the states.
According to a report by the Hannah Nightingale of the Post Millennial, Democratic politicians are urging the federal government to set up abortion tents on federally owned lands like national parks.
New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said before a crowd earlier this week that abortion tents should be established in federal lands in red states.
“Yeah, I’ll start with the babiest of the babiest of the baby steps. Open abortion clinics on federal lands in red states right now,” AOC stated.
Similarly, on June 27, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren called on the Biden regime to open Planned Parenthood “outposts” around national parks.
Washington Post reporter Caroline Kitchener was able to talk to Warren earlier this week. In this conversation, Warren apparently said that there should be Planned Parenthood outposts set up at the edges of national parks.
“They could put up tents, have trained personnel — and be there to help people who need it,” Warren allegedly remarked. “It’s time to declare a medical emergency.”
Indeed, the Left is trying to find every way possible to undermine the results of this Supreme Court decision. They can’t accept political decisions that go against their interests.
America is a nation of laws, not policy preferences. Sure, there will be policies that will be passed which are controversial in nature. That said, those types of policies should be rescinded through legitimate legislative mechanisms such as repeals or through electoral means at the ballot box.
That’s how constitutional democracies work. However, liberals and leftists don’t care for these processes and want to impose their universalist vision on the American populace at all costs.
