The wokification of the United States military has made one of America’s most respected institutions less attractive to join.
The lagging recruitment numbers have compelled the separate branches of the US military to get creative in their recruitment efforts. For example, the Air Force has used “Top Gun: Maverick”, which was released on May 27, 2022.
According to a report by the Associated Press, Air Force recruiters brought boxes of free mugs and lanyards to movie theaters during the Top Gun sequel premier to promote the Air Force and try to recruit certain movie-goers.
At the moment, the branches of the military are struggling to find people who can meet the mental, moral, and physical requirements of joining the service.
The most notorious case involves the Army, which announced on July 19, that it will be cutting its forces over the next two years.
None of this is a coincidence. Let’s face it… wokism has infected every institution in America. This includes the military. By allowing cultural leftists to absorb vital institutions like the military, the US is playing with fire.
The military’s purpose is to defend the Constitution and defend the American state from all enemies both foreign and domestic. It must not only be able to recruit sufficient numbers of members but also produce a quality fighting force to protect the country.
By going woke and catering to the demands of leftist pressure groups, the US military is hamstringing itself. In time, it will become a shell of its former self — a development that rivals like China will absolutely relish.
On top of that, potential prospects who want to serve our country, will likely be turned off by this “wokified” military and find opportunities elsewhere. Most normal people are thoroughly repulsed by wokism and want nothing to do with organizations that promote this nonsense. This should alarm any red-blooded patriot who is concerned about the country’s future.
Hopefully, cooler heads prevail here and reformers come in to cleanse the military of its wokist turn. If no sensible reforms are carried out, the US could be in for a very rough 21st century as it grows weaker and its rival grow much stronger.
