Once respectable corporations that provided useful goods and services that Americans enjoyed have now fallen to the mind virus that is wokism.
Crayola, the famous crayon company, is now staring at the prospect of a boycott over its pro-LGBT content.
The crayon company has a target market that’s in the age demographic of 2-10.
What drove this controversy was when this company published images of a transgender model on its social media accounts.
In its content, Crayola promoted Julian Gavino AKA The Disabled Hippie, on the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages in celebration of “Disability Pride Month.”
“Julian Gavino, (he/him) is a fashion model, writer, and activist who identifies as a transgender man,” Crayola stated. “He was born with a progressive neurological condition. Julian is passionate about advocating for his respective communities. As someone who grew up not seeing anyone who looked like him in the media, Julian is determined to normalize disabled and trans bodies in the fashion world.”
Crayola ended up posting three provocative images of Gavino, which caused backlash in social media. As a result of this backlash, Crayola shut down all comments on Instagram and restricted who could make comments on Facebook.
After these posts became viral, the hashtag #BoycottCrayola spread across Twitter.
Frankly, boycotts of this nature are long overdue. Crayola should stick to making crayons, not engaging in rancid woke virtue signaling. This is way out of place and sends a terrifying message to young children who use these products.
Broadly speaking, when the regime can’t shove its culturally degenerate propaganda down people’s throats, it will outsource this work to companies that partake in woke virtual signaling. To fight back against this unique threat, reasonable Americans should boycott these companies as much as possible.
That’s the only way woke companies will get the message that their behavior will not be tolerated by red-blooded Americans.
