Liz Cheney’s Net Worth Has Exploded by 600% During Her Time in Congress

The majority of politicians in the DC Swamp are in it for themselves and really don’t care about the American people. 

Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney is Exhibit A of this trend. She went along with the corporate media hysteria and voted to impeach Donald Trump after the January 6 storming of the Capitol. 

On top of that, Cheney is the Vice Chair of the January 6 Select Committee. To say that Cheney is a pillar of the DC Swamp would be an understatement.

But it doesn’t stop there. Since she took office in 2017, Cheney’s net worth has ballooned by over 600% during her time in office. For perspective, when Cheney assumed office, she had an estimated net worth of $7 million. Currently, Cheney’s net worth hovers around $44 million. 

From the outset, Cheney’s wealth skyrocketed. Her net worth doubled from $7 million to $14 million in the period of 2017 to 2018 alone. Her wealth growth is no coincidence.

Liz Cheney is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, a major booster of the military-industrial complex. 

Curiously, Joshua Young of The Post Millenial noted that “One of Cheney’s assets is her husband’s firm Latham & Watkins which has ties to the Chinese Communist Party.”

Young expanded on Philip Perry, Cheney’s husband, connections to the Chinese Communist Party: 

“In 2018, Cheney’s top assets were listed as being $3 million in Citibank NA, as well as $3 million in Latham and Watkins.Cheney’s husband, Philip Perry, is a partner at the firm which has advised the company Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME). Officials from the US State Department said TME should be viewed as ‘tools of the Chinese government’ in 2019 according to Quartz.”

No question that Cheney does not represent the interests of Middle Americans. Thankfully, Cheney is facing a primary challenge from Harriet Hageman, who appears to be holding a comfortable lead against Cheney at the polls. 

Treacherous representatives like Cheney should ultimately be punished at the polls. It’s the only way to stop their devious schemes and demonstrate that the American people will not put up with sell-out politicians.
