Missouri Senator Josh Hawley has recently been burnt in effigy for his heated back-and-forth with Khiara Bridges, a law professor at the University of California, which many in the pundit class viewed as “transphobic.”
Hawley has earned this ignominious label simply for expressing his disagreement that a man can get pregnant.
“You refer to ‘people with a capacity for pregnancy.’ Would that be women?” Hawley questioned Bridges.
Leftists these days generally use the term “pregnant people” as opposed to “women” to avoid offending overly-sensitive leftists. For the freaks on the cultural Left, men can now have pregnancies.
“Many women, cis women, have the capacity for pregnancy, many cis women do not have the capacity for pregnancy,” Bridges responded. “There are also trans men who are capable of pregnancy, as well as non-binary people who are capable of pregnancy.”
In response, Hawley stated that the idea “trans men” and “nonbinary people” can get pregnant undermines the whole ideology of abortion being a “women’s rights” question.
“We can recognize that this impacts women while also recognizing that it impacts other groups,” Bridges responded.
“Those things are not mutually exclusive,” she added.
The Missouri Senator then asked Bridges to explain what “the core of this,” is about. Bridges hostilely responded, “your line of questioning is transphobic and it opens up trans people to violence by not recognizing them.”
A society where individuals can’t define what a woman is, and more broadly, differentiate between the two sexes is one that is not long for this world.
The fact that America’s so-called “elites” can’t even come to grips with basic biology demonstrates how far they have fallen. A course correction is necessary, lest the US wants to descend into a Idiocracy style state that is marked by mass stupidity, irrationality, and social decay.
That’s how far the US has declined and we’re going to need serious leadership in order to reverse this descent into irrationality.
