NEWSFLASH: Majority of Americans Think the Country is Going the Wrong Way Under the Biden Regime

It doesn’t take a PHD in political science to recognize that Americans are growing restless with the Biden regime’s handling of domestic policy.

The latest results from an NBC poll bear this out. 75% of American adults believe the country is heading in the wrong direction. According to Jordan Boyd of The Federalist, this figure is the “highest number of unsatisfied Americans since the nation’s last notable recession in 2008.”

Boyd added, “It’s also up nearly 20 percentage points since this time last year and up two percentage points from January 2021 when Biden was inaugurated.”

The majority of Americans’ worries are connected to federal spending and the economic distortions the government-imposed lockdowns have created. In addition, inflation — a product of loose monetary policies that has also been exacerbated by supply chain shocks — has rocked the country and has made Americans even more jittery about their economic prospects.

Per the NBC poll, 65% of American adults indicated that their paychecks can’t keep up with the growing inflation rate. A mere 6% stated that their total income is “going up faster than the cost of living.”

Biden’s approval among American adults stands at a putrid 39% and his disapproval rating has reached an alarming 56%.

None of this a coincidence. The Biden regime’s policies ranging from economic interventionism to its open border policies are creating unprecedented levels of socio-economic upheaval across the country. So, people are rightfully ticked off at the Biden regime.

There comes a point when governments have to take ownership of the problems they’ve created and not use foreign scapegoats. The Biden regime’s invocation of the “Putin Price Hike” to explain the rising cost of living and gas across the US is beyond petty, and also dangerous.

The last thing the US needs during a time when its government is shackling the economy is to get involved in a war with a nuclear power. Overall, the situation is dire in the US to the point that the corporate press is beginning to realize the Biden regime can’t control the situation any longer.

At this point, one has to wonder if Biden will bother to run for re-election in 2024. One thing is clear though: The US desperately needs strong leadership in the White House and Congress.

What do you think?
