Michael Stenger, the Senate sergeant-at-arms who was responsible for securing the Senate during the January 6, 2021 of the storming capitol, died on June 28, 2022.
Interestingly, there has not been an official cause of death divulged to the public.
Stenger previously worked in the Secret Service. He would later be nominated to the position of Senate sergeant-at-arms in 2018. Stenger served in this position for three years and later resigned the day after the January 6 storming of the Capitol.
After the storming of the Capitol, Stenger received a lot of criticism. Many critics believed that he should have taken stronger measures to secure the building and prevent the protestors from damaging it.
America is in a weird position in its history. Once a pristine democracy known for its rule of law, the US is descending into Banana Republic status.
Mysterious deaths, cases of corruption, and infringements on civil liberties have become the norm throughout the land.
It remains to be seen if the true cause of Stenger’s death will be revealed to the public. Nevertheless, the timing of his death — during the January 6 hearings — is very suspicious and should have any inquisitive American asking uncomfortable questions.
As the US grows more unstable, more mysterious deaths of public officials and government functionaries will likely increase over time. We’re in for some very chaotic times. So buckle up.
