Did Big Pharma take a big blow earlier this week?
Judicial Watch revealed at the start of this week that it obtained 466 pages of records from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that dealt with biodistribution studies and similar data for COVID-19 vaccines that Pfizer/BioNtech developed.
What this finding specifically demonstrated was that lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) — a critical component of the vaccines — were discovered outside the injection site, principally the adrenal glands, the liver, ovaries, and spleen of test animals, 8 to 48 hours following an injection. Pfizer/BioNTech’s, COVID vaccine, which is mRNA-based, depends on LNPs as a delivery system.
In a press release that it published on January 10, 2022, Pfizer stated that Acuitas Therapeutics LNP technology is used in COMIRNATY, Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine.
Furthermore, Judicial Watch obtained 663 pages of HHS records with regards to biodistribution studies and data connected to COVID-19 vaccines. Per the HHS records, Johnson & Johnson depended on studies demonstrating that vaccine DNA particles and injected virus particles remained in test animals months following the injection.
On top of that, the records indicated that Johnson & Johnson did not include studies of the spike protein that’s embedded in the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Judicial Watch was able to acquire the records as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:21-cv-02418)) that it previously filed. Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit following the Food and Drug Administration’s, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s, and the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease’s failure to respond to a FOIA request that Judicial Watch filed on June 8, 2021.
The FOIA request was for:
[A]ccess to biodistribution studies and related data for the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines used to treat and/or prevent SARS-CoV-2 and/or COVID-19.
“These documents show why many Americans have concerns about whether the novel COVID vaccines that were developed at such an accelerated pace were tested properly and thoroughly,” declared Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
Indeed, there are many questions to ask about the COVID vaccines and how fast they were rolled out. Big Pharma is highly influential in American politics and does not necessarily work on behalf of average Americans’ interests.
Frank discussions and more transparency are needed for the nation to remain healthy and in good shape. Legacy institutions like Big Pharma cannot always assume that people will always trust their products. They ultimately have to earn it by becoming more transparent about their testing procedures.
